Logical Limbo(augh?)

Dan Rather's crime is that he aired a segment using unauthenticated documents. What about a whole war based on unauthenticated documents (Powell's evidence, Rumsfeld's exactitudeds, Bush's Yellowcake?). Here's an article on the logical folly involved.
